no browser function for 'root directory' and 'file name'

Hi expert,

       I am trying to create a file format in BODS 4.0, but file format editor, but there are no browser function for  'root directory' and 'file name', I try to manually input values for them, but schema can not automatically be uploaded, and view data function is inactive, could you please tell me how to make browsing file and root work?
