I have installed SAP BO BI Platform ( SAP BO Enterprise) 4.0 SP2( the base version given by SAP).Now, I am trying to install SAP Business Objects Data Services 4.0 SP 01( the base version given by SAP). This combination is clearly supported as per documentation from SAP.
But, I am getting an error message "An unknown error occured during Validation of CMS connection information".
In this case, I am using the default SQL Server and Tomcat Server supplied for SAP BO BI Platform 4.0 SP2.
This is on Windows Server 2003 SP2.
Please let me know if anyone has faced this issue before.
