Jobs migration from 4.0 to 4.2

I setup 4.2 server for DS/IS. We have Dev environment which is on 4.0 SP3. I would like to test some of the jobs in the repository from 4.0 on 4.2. What is the best way of doing it?

Export to ATL on 4.0 DS , import them to 4.2???
