Hello all

since a while we are facing a strange issue with FIM / DS 4.0..for infrastructure limitations we are forced to use direct download transfer method, and after dev, qa and prod installations were completed everything worked fine...starting a couple of weeks ago all jobs stopped working in our QA and Prod environments with following error :

14.0) 09-08-14 18:11:29 (E) (1908:2120) R3C-150101: |Data flow DF_EXPORT_XX

Cannot connect to SAP Applications datastore <XX_ECC_EXPORT_DS> using host <xx>, client <100>, user

<xx>, and system number <00: CRFC error: RFC_START_SAPGUI_FAILURE- 'sapgui' start failed.[SAP NWRFC 720][SAP Partner 740

][xxx][xxx][xxx][4102]>. Make sure the SAP server is running and the login information is correct.

The only system which was still ok was development ., and today got broken as well...sapgui is installed on the ds servers, we can reach and logon the target sap systems and as said it worked for a while...

We know direct download is not recommended and already planned this autumn a DS 4.2 upgrade so that we can use RFC transfer method, but actually are blocked

looking at sapogui traces it seems a 3 minutes timeout is happening :

Monitor                       : Execute_Delegation: Handle default

Monitor(07.09.14 10:39:58.599)(17248/15220 KB): Delegate: Waiting for connection data being passed to librfc32

Monitor                       (17256/15220 KB): Delegate

Monitor                       : TIMESTAMP: ending sapgui: Date: 2014-09-07 Time: 10:42:58 (StopWatch: 03:00:899)

Thanks in advance for any suggestion

Michele
