Datastore connection ODBC Error

Hi Guys,

This question might have been asked before, but I could not find my solution.

We installed our system

Windows server 2012 R2

Sql server 2012 enterprise

BI 4.1 SP3

Data services 4.2 SP3

our source system is another VM (sql server 2008) on same physical machine.

when i create datastore for the sql server 2008. it gives odbc error

both source and BI systems are 64 bit.

ODBC 64 bit is configured. I can use connection in IDT, also it works in excel.

Note: I already checked it with ODBC database type, but same issue.

any help would be highly appreciated.
