Business Objects Universe Create and Update options are disabled in SAP BODS

HI Experts

     I need to create BO Universe from the datastore present in the SAP BODS but for that when i right click on the datastore and select Business Objects there Create and Update options are disabled. I also Installed Universe on my system. How can i enable the create and update options
