Stored Procedure in SAP BODS job

Hi Experts,

I want to know is it advisable to call a Stored procedue from SAP BODS job. I mean in a job we are just calling a procedure.

In job we can't monitor the progress because the procedure is running in databse side.

Do we have any way to display the progress of called stored procedure in Trace log.

Database- Sql Server 2012

SAP BODS- 4.2
