Profiler task in status 'pending'

Hi,

I submitted a profiler task and it now sits in the status 'pending'.

The task is on one column for a table with < 1,000 records so I expected a result within seconds.

According to the help status pending means:

Pending — The task is on the

wait queue because the maximum number of concurrent

tasks has been reached or another task is profiling the same

table.

According to the admin console, no other tasks are running.

The jobserver was re-started prior to submitting the task.

I expect there are some rogue processes somewhere but I can't think where.

Any suggestions how initialize all profiler tasks?

I am currently thinking of removing the profiler repo from jobserver, restart jobserver, and adding it back again but I have little confidence this will actually help....
