pass selection values in Infopackage

Hello experts,

i need to filter the coming data from data services and add some selection fields into the infopackage to select a specific country or a specific month or whatever. How could I achieve that?

via global variable or parameter and what are the steps?

source data include different countries 0country and different months, I need to select a specific country for instance

any idea to carry out this mission?
