my requirement is to call all the 500 bods job's webservices in our current landscape from a 3rd party monitoring tool.
3rd party portal is designed in C# and we will be coding calls to these webservice[s].
we are currently on bods 4.2 version and i could generate webservice for the first job in our list.
1. is it possible to generate a single web service for a list of jobs?
because in my case, i need to manually generate 500 webservices and calling all the 500 webservices from C# code will definitely crash during the execution and not a practical way.
2. also another doubt is that when new job[s] get promoted to the production environment, what is the best approach to handle it?
3. we intend to carry out these tasks on a bods job from the 3rd party monitoring tool
a. monitor job[s] status -- we dint find this option
b. kill a job[s] -- we dint find this option
c. restart an aborted job[s] -- we dint find this option
d. trigger a job[s] -- only this was possible
please suggest.
