Code migration from DS4.0 to DS4.2

Dear All,

We have requirement to migrate code from DS4.0 to DS4.2.

We have taken copy of DS4.0 Local repo and loaded into separate database and then upgraded  copied local repo with DS4.2 repository manager.

After that we made few more ETL changes in the old DS4.0 repo.Now we want to migrate new changes to 4.2 repository.

Can any one let us know is it suggestible to migrate code changes directly from DS4.0 repo to DS4.2 Local repo
