Value assigned to Global variable for Job Vai Management console not being received by Job

Hi Experts,

I am trying to execute Job vai Management console after initializing value for Global variable but value is not being recognized.

for example:

I have job under which a "script" contains Print($G_Variable) and if i executed this job vai management console in Trace log i see "NULL" even i am passing value to Variable.

Any reply or suggestion on this would be appreciated.
