Hi,
I am successful in creating a ABAP data flow in BODS with a working directory which is not in SAP.
The SAP and BODS Job server are hosted in Linux server and I created a NFS share in window box and mounted this as a mount point in both linux servers and mentioned it as working and Application path to shared directory. However i have few queries.
1. Once the ABAP dataflow is executed the .DAT file is created in the specified location, does this mean that technically the connection link to SAP system (ISU in my case) is broken as it has written the .DAT file and there is no burden on it in terms of CPU and memory utilization.
2. ABAP data flow is best suited for BODS if the source system is SAP ECC, but the data record transfer is still 5000 (from .dat file to table) is there anyway in can speed up this process. I tried the ones I know but still the same.
3. Where i can see the ABAP program in the ISU system as i have selected the option "Generate and Execute" in my datastore. I can't see the program created in SE37 and want this such that in can transport it to prod.
