There is a requirement where I need to load data from SAP ECC to MS SQL Server using SAP ECC Standard extractors. We are using finance data for our project and since the volume is huge (approx 18 million) for the initial load , it takes days to extract this data. I have tried increasing the parallel processing property inside the extractor from 0 (default value) to 5 and even on the database side I have tried to increase the number of loaders to 4 . I have also changed the Rows per commit to 2000 but there was no significant improvement which we noticed.
My question is ,
Firstly, do we have some setting in Data Services which we can use to enhance the performance of this job?
Secondly, can we improve the performance of SAP ECC extractors somehow or the performance of the SQL server ?
