I'm using the match transform to determine duplicate personal records, using the surname, first name, and date of birth as primary fields, and using second name, post code, and country of birth as secondary fields. Primary fields were assigned large contribution weights, while secondary were assigned lower values.
Weighted score was used, with the summary below:
Results are as expected, except for those with values for "Given Name2" with slight differences. For example, all values are the same except for second name such as "Isabel" vs "Isobel" and "John" vs "Johnston" are not getting any match. Since I assigned only 5% weight to the second name, I was expecting a score of 95% for these records, but they're not getting any match to begin with.
Is there any parameter or flag that I missed?
