Try/Catch is always required for a job or not

Hi experts,

I'm  new to BODS. My question is if Try/Catch is required for all of BODS batch jobs or just in case of need. Our job need to load data from ECC to Data Mart. Basically, just some extract and load process. So, I'm wondering for some simple data load, if the try/catch still need. Thanks for your help!
