whats the best approach to data cleansing?

Hi All,

      I am having a requirement to do data profiling in Information steward.

My process is

1) Extracting Information from SAP ECC to Data Services and storing the data in SQL Server.

2) Data profiling (Rules) on SQL Server Data using Information Steward.(SAP ECC-->Data Services-->SQL Server-->Information Steward)

3)Again Saving the cleansed data into the SAP ECC by(Information Steward  --> SQL Server-->Data Services-->SAP ECC)

Is there any better way to handle it?
