Datetime2 created in database for Datetime & Timestamp

I'm using Data Services 14.0.3.273 and SQL Server 2008 R2.

When creating a target table in the database using a temporary table, Data Services creates columns defined as Datetime and Timestamp as Datetime2(7).

This is causing issues within the semantic layer as datetime2(7) isn't recognised by IDT.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Is there any way to ensure Data Services creates the tables with the desired data type?
