Can any body explain along with a scenario, what is the use of Effective_Date Transformation in SAP BODS. I understand the concept of Effective date from the technical manual, how to get the Effective Date in the target table, whether we have to write some custom function based on the available date and the client requirements, or any other alternate way to get it. in my transform i am using Effective_Date Transformation, and i am selecting Date column in table in Effective_Date option. And i am keeping Effective Sequence Column as blank, and i am getting the Default Date What i have mention in my target table. How to use the Effective Date transform to get the Effective dates based on warranty or based on some other requirements like that. Please try to provide some scenario with screen shots, it will be very much helpful for so many people, not only for me.
