BOBJ Migration from VMware to Hyper V system
Hi Friends,
As all our SAP system are working on VMware environment.We are above to migrate from VMware to Hyper -V environment (Both BODS 3.2 and BO 3.1.) We would like to know is there any strategy for moving the system from VMware to Hyper-V (specially for BusinessObjects tool).
* Or do we have standard document to follow during the process of Hyper V migration ?
* What will be the consequences during migration process ?
* What will be procedure for error handling ?
* Do we need to do any prerequisites before migration ?
Current environment
ERP : ECC 6.0
ETL : BODS 3.2
Rapidmarts : BODS Rapid marts 3.2
Reporting : BO XI 3.1

Hello,
I am getting an error while developing a job using cleansing package in BODS 4.1
[EIM Transform Source:CP_Test_DataCleanse]
Option Group Error(Option Group: Date Options ): At least 1 NUMERIC_FORMAT option(s) must be present in this group. (BODI-1116087)
Can anyone please let me konw what is the reason behind this error?
What can be done to resolve this issue?

Not able to scheduling batch jobs
Hi,
I am new to BODS,I tried to schedule the batch jobs in dataservices managment console but it is throwing error "Scheduled days not specified",and the calender is not displaying in a proper way
And i can see my scheduled records from SQl DB under "Al_schuld_info" table but i could nt find datservice folder and no instance are recorded in CMC.

SAP BODS error 120302

Does that mean my username is not working, but since I logged in using that username, it should not be the problem. I am also able to check the values of the table in the database. So, I believe this is not database authentication problem.
And since I am storing the result as a flat file in my local machine. That should not be a problem either.
Please help me on this. Really appreciate it.

decrease the size of the monitor log generated by BO DI
Hello,
We would wish to know if it is possible to make decrease the size of the monitor log generated by BO DI. Indeed, certain logs make more 200mo and saturate the disk space with our waiter.
We tried to increase the parameter “Monitor sample rate” with 50000 (as recommended by Doc. BO) for the job which generates us these logs of more than 200mo but that did not change anything.
Have you a idea??

Flat file error handling not working as expected
While loading csv file as comma delimited file we are getting the error: "The expected number of columns was <22> while the number of columns actually read was <1> . Check the input files for errors or verify the schema specification for the file format. The number of records processed was <xxxxxxx>" .
I verified that the record in the file was incorrect. And in order to skip the invalid record, I set up the Error Handling > Capture row format errors to Yes.
But still I am facing the same issue.
I have seen the option to use adaptable schema. But that wont solve the issue which I have because I want the invalid record to be skipped.
Please suggest how to proceed.

Problem using DataServices SDK dotnet_emdq.dll library
I'm working on a Web.API application in .NET 4.5.
The application is complaining about the dotnet_emdq.dll reference that I am using because the .dll is compiled under .NET version 2.0.
I'm using the latest version of the SDK, 4.1, and this is the .dll that is shipping with it.
So I'm looking for either a version of the .DLL compiled on a later version of the .NET framework, or a workaround as to how I can make this old file work within a newer framework project.
The error I receive is the following:
Could not load file or assembly 'Core' or one of its dependencies. An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format.
I created a test console application,and changed the startup tag in the app.config to use legacy runtime, it works.

However, this does not appear to work within the web.config file for my web.api project.

NUMERIC FORMAT option under Date option for cleansing package is not available in available in BODS 4.1.0.502
Hi Experts,
We are using BODS 4.1.0.502 version.
I am implementing a DS job using cleansing package.
While setting up the options for cleansing package, NUMERIC FORMAT option which takes the input as Arabic_Numbers and Chinese_Japanese_Numbers underDate Optionis not available. It is not available for any of the SAP provided cleansing packages also.
However this option is available in BODS 14.1.1.210.
Can anyone please let me know whether it is the bug or needs to change any setting to enable this option?

Error while installing sap bods 3.2
Hi Guys,
I am getting an error while installing SAP BODS 3.2 while creating a local repository. The error is "unknown error occurred while testing the database connection".I am using oracle database and the credentials for the database are very correct.But I don't understand why I am getting this type error.I installed bods 3.2 for several times,but didn't get this error.I hope you guys will definitely provide a solution to this problem.

Datastore/extractors: View Data --> Two filds are blank
Dear all:
we are using extractors as source (Data Services).
We have some additional fields added to 2LIS_13_VDITM datasource
Fashion Brand (char 3)
Partner_YA (char 10)
Document Number (char 10)
Their value come from CMOD.
If I check the extraction using RSA3 in ECC I get data for all these additional
fields.
Data Services gets data for only one field (Fashion Brand); the other two (Partner_YA, Document Number)
are <null>.
Does anyone know the reason for this strange behaviour?

We are using Dataservices Realtimejobs for AddressStandardization for a given address/zipcode. As part of new requirement, we are researching if dataservices returns the timezone for a given address/zipcode.
Is Timezone feature supported by Dataservices?

Does Dataservices support timezone option for a given address/zip code?
We are using SAP BusinessObjects Data Services XI Release 3 version3.2 for RealTime jobs. We are using the Dataservices to get a standardized address/zip code for a given address.
WE have a requirement to know if Dataservices support the timezone feature if a given address/zipcode?
Is this feature supported by Dataservices in version 3.2 or Version 4.1?
Any insights are helpful and highly appreciated.

Data Services InfoPackages process issues
We integrated two external systems through DI data services. Process chains developed for all the data services InfoPackage jobs. Process chain failing when source system is not returning any data time out.

I have recently upgraded DS from 4.0 to 4.1 and am getting the following message after logging into the Data Services Admin console (i.e. http://localhost:8080/DataServices).
The endpoint reference (EPR) for the Operation not found is
bip://aupssvm575:6400@SAPDEMOVM:6400/services/DS.AdminService?preferable=false
and the WSA Action = urn:executeRepoOperation
Checking the About on the logon screen it is showing as 14.1.1.210.
This sort of error with other tools seemed to hint to a version mismatch somewhere. Any ideas? It shares a CMS with BOBJ which is on 4.0 SP5.
