What does this message mean in the trace job

I got this message and been waiting and under monitor area i don't see any records coming, last time when i ran i saw 1000 row increments until the job is finished, now second time when i run all i see is zero rows for last 10 minutes npthing is happening:

 

here is the message:

Installating demo version of Business Object BI Edge 4.0 (SP2)

Hi All,

I have downloaded SAP Business Object BI 4.0 ( SP2 Edge Version ) and have registered myself for trial version.


  I got a product Key to my email id. But when I enter the product key received in the mail, I see an alert saying Invalid Product Key. I tried finding solution by browsing and found a link suggesting some temporary key listed in SAP Marketplace, but I wasn't able continue the process with those keys as well.

 

Installation Process Followed by me are as follows.

 

1. I first registered at the SAP Market place in following link.

2. I Downloaded  all software from the below link.

3. Software Links list which I downloaded

Download SAP BusinessObjects BI, Edge Edition Evaluation with Download Manager

 

4. I then double clicked on Server Part 1. This extracted all the 4 parts of server into one single folder.

 

5. I then got into the extracted folder and trying to install it by clicking on a .exe file Setup.exe at path E:xxxxxx\51041015\DATA_UNITS\BusinessObjectsServer_win

 

6. After I click on Setup.exe, I am able to clear 3 steps more and after that it asks me for a Product Keycode.

 

Here, I have entered a product key code sent to me by email, but I am getting an alert as "Invalid Product Key".

 

Please, can anyone suggest me where I am going wrong and suggest me steps of installation I am missing.

BODS/ETL Gurus--

I'm having a tough time conceptualizing what I'll need to do to extract data from our divergent DB2/SQL Server based applications to move it to "in-memory" HANA.

 

In general, what is the approach or process? For example, is there a component within BODS that is designed to do this?

Hi,

 

am getting the following error when trying to connect Database through datastore from Designer.


"Cannot find NT Oracle Server DLL <OCI.DLL>. Please make sure that Oracle has been installed and the PATH variable points to the correct lib directories."


1. DS is on Windows

2. DS repo is sql server

3. Source is Oracle 11g db, target is Sql server db.

 


when i execute the job getting this error 


 

Could anyone help me out What the error is?

unable to see TNS SERVICE NAME IN SYSTEM DSN

Hi ,

 

I have issue with oracle TNS SERVICE  NAME, actually I have configured the TNS name in Tnsservecenames.ora file

but i could not see the Tns service name when I try to creat a  SYSTEM DSN  . drop down list not showing the list of TNS name

 

any one aware of this

Cannot create repository

We have oracle DB and my repo is on it.

I ran repoman and its all fine.

But not able to create/configure repo inside the CMC....

it gives me this error

 

There is a problem to connect to repository: Repo Connection Failed (exception: Database driver for 'Oracle' is not loaded.Possible ways to fix this problem: 1)For DataServices ManagementConsole or DataServices Workbench make sure the jdbc driver is copied tojava/lib/im/<database> under the SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI installation directory on the machinewhere DataServices AdminService is installed.Restart the EIMAdaptiveProcessing Server instance on that machine. 2)For DataServices upgrade manager tool please make sure the jdbc driver is placed under ext/lib directory under LINK_DIR. (BODI-3013014)  )

 

I copied classes12.jar and ojdbc*.jar to $LINK_DIR/lib  and $LINK_DIR/ext/lib and in sap_bobj/enterprisexi_40/java/lib/im/oracle/

But sthill no successs but i can connect from DataServices Workbench.

Opposite of Break Key? Match Transform

Hi there!

 

A quick question regarding match transform.

 

Is it possible to specify a key that, if 2 or more records share the same key, means that the 2 or more records do not get compared?

 

For instance if I had a customer with an id of 301,  with 3 addresses and 2 telephone numbers organised column wise would it be possible to ask the match transform to not compare the rows with the id of 301 and only compare this record against other ids?

SAP Connection of Data Integrator is shutdown when SAP BW backup full

Dear Expert,

 

My SAP BW Production has backed up full weekly at Sunday. But when the system backup, it need to shutdown BW. And when BW start again, the SAP Connection in data services has down. And I must have to restart it by manual. Please tell me how can I configure system that SAP Connection doesn't down when SAP BW backup.

such as

add memeory?

increase the commit size? (but I don't know where to change the value)

any others?

ODBC call Error

Hi,

 

I am trying to create a data store in BODS since iam trying to read the data from the ECC system and placing it in to the HANA system.

Already HANA driver is installed in my machine. Since the connectivity has to be established between the application and the database I have configured using the ODBC driver.

 

I do get an error when I created a data source name and add the respective credentials. Creating a data source was successful but when I tried to add the respective data source in the DATASTORE level, I do get an error. Attached is the screen shot below -

Is it possible to find who made the changes to the datastore credentials?

 

We have few users within our BODS environment, someone modified teh Data store data base access credentials, would like to see who has made those changes.

Best practice data migration templates

Hi,

 

I am looking for the data migration templates for migration to ERP/CRM.

My requirement is slightly different- I am currently not migrating to ERP or CRM but I know these templates are extremely useful as examples for other data migration as well.

 

I attended a training course about data migration with Data Services several years ago when this solution was just being offered.

The templates for data mapping (Excel files) and the pre-configured Data Services jobs were very complete, robust and easy to use.

At the time, these templates could all be downloaded on SCN.

 

It looks like this solution is now offered as the Best Practice / Rapid Deployment Solution for Data Migration for ERP/CRM.

The content is available for download, and I have just downloaded a 25Mb documentation file.

This file does not contain the actual configuration files (atl files) or Excel mapping spreadsheets. The complete solution can also be downloaded, but the combined size of the three files is nearly 3GB.

 

My question is what is the easiest way to get the atl files, Excel mapping templates (and perhaps some documentation about the atl files). Do I really have to install the complete RDS solution or is there a shortcut?

Is there is any way to control the data store where the optimized sql will run on BODS?

The optimisedsql should have run on a schema A of the database, but the optmised sql is running on the Scheme B. Is there is any way in order to make the optmised sql to run on schema B.
